The
new Yelverton Cinema is an arm of the Yelverton Community
Projects Charity, run entirely by volunteers
and dedicated members of the local community.
The aim of the project is
to bring the cinema experience to people living in Yelverton
and the surrounding area. It will be a valuable resource
for local residents and will help to reinforce a sense
of community.
We hope to offer something different and more personal than
the regular cinema experience.

There
will be a warm welcome, reasonably priced admission at £4.00,
comfortable seating, homemade refreshments and a chance
to get involved in all aspects of our community cinema.
Situated at St Paul's
Church hall, the cinema is a minute's walk from the roundabout
at Yelverton, making it accessible to people travelling
by public transport and car.
The hall has been fully equipped
with the latest cinema technology, including surround sound
and blu-ray projection in order to offer the best possible
cinema experience.

We offer
a wide-ranging film programme which includes independent,
art-house, classic
and current mainstream films. Film screenings
take place on selected Saturday evenings and we also have
regular children's films and mid-week afternoon matinée
performances. |
